Important News: The Community-Engagement Dialogue Continues
The January 17, 2016, Summit Is Fast Approaching!
On November 29, Congregation Shir Libeynu launched its community dialogue – facilitated by long-time member Danny Nashman, a professional strategic planner. For the past several weeks, many of us have been participating in the dialogue by being interviewed or by conducting interviews. Now comes the time for us to reconvene and report on what we have heard.
The January 17 meeting will be held at the Wolfond Centre, 36 Harbord Street, Toronto, from 1:00 to 4:30 p.m. Please be sure to bring the notes and reflections you’ve taken from the conversations you’ve had over the past few weeks so that we can draw from them to create our vision and strategy for the future. You do not need to turn the notes into anyone – just bring them with you! And even if you have not participated up to now, but are still interested, please come along too. Free child care will be available throughout the program.
If you were at our Nov. 29 meeting, and committed to interviewing your shul mispoocha in advance of the Summit dialogue, we hope you enjoyed doing so. If you need another copy of the questionnaire to keep at it, please click here.
Following the January 17 Summit, Shir Libeynu’s board, along with the shul’s leadership, will meet to carefully consider the results of the dialogue and how these results can be incorporated into our community’s strategic direction. Stay tuned, because there will be an important role for you to play in helping make this happen. See you at the Summit.
