SUMMARY:Lunch & Learn with Cantor Wunch
DESCRIPTION:Bring your lunch\, midday snack\, coffee or tea and join Cantor Wunch and other CSL members on the third Tuesday of the month at noon on Zoom for our Lunch and Learn program. \nWe’ll chat and engage in some casual text study. We’ll begin with the weekly Torah portion (in English)\, and see where our interests take us. No previous experience with text study is necessary–just an inquisitive spirit! Looking forward to seeing you there\, learning and having fun together! \nMembers will be sent the Zoom link prior to the event.

DESCRIPTION:Are you a senior worried about the world we are leaving our grandchildren? Ever wonder what you can do to make a difference? SCAN! (Seniors for Climate Action Now!) supports the lead of young people in their call on governments to act decisively on the climate emergency.\nAs a group they are committed to supporting the lead of these young activists\, amplifying their voices\, and adding their own voice to the growing movement for climate action. \nAlan Silverman is a member of the coordinating committee of SCAN! He will address what the current provincial and federal governments have\, and have not done\, toward ending greenhouse gas emissions.
