Speaker Series: SCAN! (Seniors for Climate Action Now!) Guest Speaker Alan Silverman

Are you a senior worried about the world we are leaving our grandchildren? Ever wonder what you can do to make a difference? SCAN! (Seniors for Climate Action Now!) supports the lead of young people in their call on governments to act decisively on the climate emergency.
As a group they are committed to supporting the lead of these young activists, amplifying their voices, and adding their own voice to the growing movement for climate action.

Alan Silverman is a member of the coordinating committee of SCAN! He will address what the current provincial and federal governments have, and have not done, toward ending greenhouse gas emissions. He will also tell us about SCAN! and how we can get involved with this organization.
A Q&A will follow Alan’s presentation.
